My International Therapy connects patients and therapists and provides the dashboard, messaging, booking, notifications, documents and the related administrative tools.
The therapist remains solely responsible for their practice, professional compliance, insurance, tax obligations, the content of their service and the therapeutic relationship with the patient.
Payments for patients brought by the platform must be collected through the platform payment tools when the therapist account uses this model.
These terms include reinforced rules on compliance, evidence of acceptance, prevention of platform circumvention and conservative suspension in case of risk or fraud.
Processing sensitive or confidential data requires a strict organisation: minimisation of collected information, access control, traceability, backups, confidentiality, incident management and information to individuals where regulations require it.
My International Therapy operates a digital platform enabling profile publication, session booking, message management, notifications, payments and use of a secure dashboard.
These terms govern therapist registration, patient registration, use of the dashboard, messaging, appointment requests and confirmations, payments, invoices, documents, security logs and all tools offered on the platform.
Creating an account constitutes full acceptance of the current version of these Terms of Sale and Use.
The platform acts as the technical and commercial operator of the digital service. It organises the booking, payment, communication and administrative management environment without replacing the professional who provides the service.
The therapist remains the only professional responsible for assessing whether the care is appropriate, for session content, documents provided, advice given, cancellations decided and compliance with the rules applicable to their profession.
Therapist and patient accounts are personal. Each user undertakes to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information and to keep their access credentials confidential.
The user must promptly report any unauthorised use, account compromise, error in their data or security difficulty.
The platform may request supporting documents when necessary for account security, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance or verification of a professional identity.
Depending on the therapist settings, a public booking may generate either a simple appointment request subject to approval or an immediate confirmation.
Displayed availability may be filtered by the platform internal calendar and, when the therapist chooses so, by their Google Calendar in order to limit the risk of double booking.
Before validation, the patient must check the date, time, time zone, session mode, selected professional and pricing conditions displayed.
Service prices are defined by the therapist. The platform may display applicable taxes, fees or billing information according to the active configuration of the account concerned.
Payments are processed through Stripe and Stripe Connect. When the activated model is the therapist's connected Stripe Express account, the patient pays the therapist on the therapist's own connected Stripe account. The platform covers the Stripe payment processing fees applicable to the transaction and separately collects its application fee or contractual commission according to the agreed conditions.
The therapist remains solely responsible for the compliance of their invoices, tax obligations, legal notices, VAT, thresholds, declarations and any professional regime applicable to their activity.
The cancellation, rescheduling and no-show conditions are those displayed at the time of booking and those configured by the therapist in their area.
In case of absence, significant delay or late cancellation, the therapist may apply the announced policy, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that may apply.
When a patient qualifies as a consumer and books a service remotely, the legal withdrawal period is in principle fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract.
If the patient expressly requests that performance begin before the end of this period and acknowledges the legal effects of that request where the law requires it, the right of withdrawal may be limited or excluded under the conditions provided by applicable law.
Sessions planned at short notice may therefore require an express waiver or specific information about the early start of the service.
The therapist undertakes to publish a truthful profile, to present their skills, specialties, languages, prices and availability correctly, and to respond to requests within reasonable timeframes.
By registering on the platform under a model involving a commission on payments, the therapist certifies that they are not acting as a doctor, psychiatrist, dental surgeon, midwife, pharmacist or other health professional whose rules prohibit or restrict fee sharing, commissions or retrocessions incompatible with this model.
If the therapist belongs to a profession whose rules make the commission-based model incompatible or uncertain, it is their responsibility not to complete registration, to request another economic model or to obtain their own legal checks before any paid use of the platform.
The patient undertakes to provide accurate information, to book in good faith, to respect appointment times and to use the platform loyally.
The dashboard may offer internal messaging, reminders, documents, automations, payments and third-party integrations. These tools are provided as technical support services for the operation of the platform.
When the therapist connects Google Calendar, they authorise the platform to read the availability needed to block time slots and, depending on active settings, to create or update events linked to confirmed appointments.
Third-party services may experience downtime, limitations or policy changes. The platform does not guarantee absolute continuity of these integrations.
Data needed for account creation, booking, payment, invoicing, messaging, support, security and fraud prevention is processed in accordance with the privacy policy available on the dashboard.
The platform may also track dashboard page views, interface clicks limited to non-personal technical labels, performance indicators and technical error signals for security, internal statistics, continuous improvement and product optimisation, in a first-party configuration without cross-site matching or advertising reuse.
The therapist acts as an independent professional for processing carried out within their own service and remains responsible for the data used in that relationship.
The parties acknowledge that some data may qualify as personal health data when its context reveals care, a therapeutic service, follow-up or information relating to a person鈥檚 physical or mental state.
When the service processes sensitive, confidential or patient follow-up data, the relevant application components and storage must be operated with risk-appropriate security measures that are documented and regularly checked.
The platform and the therapist each retain their own obligations: code security, permission management, logging, minimisation, confidentiality, retention, information to individuals, incident management and GDPR compliance remain necessary.
Each therapist area is intended to be compartmentalised. The therapist must access only patients, appointments, documents, messages and payments attached to them, unless strictly necessary and logged support or administration permission has been explicitly granted.
Documents, attachments, invoices, exports, backups and sensitive logs must not be placed in a public area of the site. Access must go through authentication and authorisation controls, or through temporary signed links when sharing is necessary.
Any data breach, loss of access, illegitimate access, wrong recipient, public exposure or suspicion of compromise must be reported immediately so the incident can be analysed, limited, documented and, where regulations require it, notified to individuals or competent authorities.
In case of serious indication of fraud, circumvention of the payment system, risk to patients, professional non-compliance, serious breach of these terms or legal necessity, the platform may immediately take proportionate conservative measures: suspension, access restriction, freezing of certain features or temporary blocking of payments.
Unless prevented by law, fraud risk, security risk or justified urgency, the platform communicates the main reasons for the measure to the user concerned on a durable medium. Reactivation may be conditional on supporting documents, identity documents, professional certificates, compliance evidence or information relating to disputed payments.
The user acknowledges that certain technical data, logs and contractual evidence must be retained for security, audit, defence of the platform鈥檚 rights and proof of acceptance of these terms.
The platform is subject to a best-efforts obligation for access to the site, dashboard and technical tools. It cannot be held liable for diagnoses, prescriptions, recommendations, session content, therapeutic decisions or disputes relating to the intrinsic quality of the service provided by the therapist.
The platform shall not be liable in case of temporary unavailability of a third-party service, error caused by an external provider, force majeure, non-compliant use of the service, inaccurate information provided by a user or the therapist鈥檚 own breach.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including in case of gross negligence, wilful misconduct, infringement of mandatory consumer rights or security breach attributable to the platform. Caps or exclusions applicable to professional users must be assessed according to the contract, the damage, insurance and applicable law.
Any complaint must first be sent to the platform in writing at the following address: paul@my-international-therapy.com.
For consumer disputes concerning the platform operator, the consumer may contact the consumer mediator designated by the operator; their details are communicated on written request and in the information notices made available by the platform.
In case of a dispute concerning the content of a therapeutic service, the therapist鈥檚 primary liability remains applicable between the patient and the therapist, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
These terms are governed by French law, subject to any mandatory provisions that may apply to the consumer in their country of residence.
Failing amicable resolution, the competent courts will be determined according to the status of the parties, the nature of the dispute and the mandatory legal rules applicable.
The system records the document version, technical hash, date, IP address, user agent, locale and registration context to strengthen proof of acceptance.
